She understands that healing is rarely a straight path and believes every woman deserves personalized care that honors her unique story, strengths, and goals. My Philosophy of Care
Valencia believes mental health care should be collaborative, compassionate, and individualized. She combines evidence-based psychiatric care with patient education, medication management when appropriate, supportive therapy, and lifestyle-focused strategies to help women achieve lasting emotional wellness.
Her goal is not only to reduce symptoms but also to empower women with the tools, confidence, and support they need to thrive. She values building trusting relationships and ensuring every patient feels comfortable, respected, and actively involved in decisions about their care.
Why I Started Duval Mental Health and Wellness
Duval Mental Health and Wellness was founded with a simple mission: to create a practice where women come first.
Valencia envisioned a place where patients are treated as individuals not appointments on a schedule. She understands the many roles women often balance, including careers, families, relationships, caregiving responsibilities, and personal expectations, while frequently placing their own mental health last.
Whether meeting in person at our Orlando office or through secure telehealth throughout Florida, she is committed to making high-quality psychiatric care more accessible for women. Her mission is to provide thoughtful, personalized care that helps patients restore balance, build resilience, and move forward with confidence.
Outside of her practice, Valencia enjoys spending quality time with her family, making memories at amusement parks, and embracing life's simple moments. She believes that maintaining meaningful relationships and finding joy in everyday experiences are important parts of overall wellness.
Fun Fact: Valencia enjoys fishing the old-fashioned way using nothing but a fishing line, no fishing pole required!
She looks forward to partnering with you on your journey toward healing, growth, and lasting emotional wellness.
